Food Recommendation Friday: The Grille – Ho Chunk Gaming Nekoosa

The Grille inside Ho Chunk Gaming Nekoosa is just marvelous. The staff will make you feel very welcomed and the atmosphere is just beautiful. Sitting by the windows the view is breath taking.  Their food is exquisite. The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger is absolutely amazing. It bursts with flavors. Just talking about it makes my mouth water. The cheese on the burger tastes like true Wisconsin cheese. The meat was cooked to perfection. They have wonderful haystack onions, which are to die for. They have a crispy texture and taste like no other. Their haystacks put you into an oniony trance. Besides their wonderful burgers and their amazing haystack onions, they have great salads, which are flawless. The Caesar Salad happens to be my favorite. This month of July, their specialty item is the Red, White and Blue Salad. If you’re a shrimp lover you have to try their Firecracker Shrimp. It’s a little spicy but just the right kind of spicy.  The shrimp bursts with exquisite flavor! Squeeze some lemon on top of your shrimp it will make the flavor come alive. The soups are out of this world and the Signature Wisconsin Cheese Soup is a must try!  For dessert, bite down into their flavorsome cheesecake or their scrumptious chocolate cake.

Our restaurant offers a full menu with many satisfying choices. Our most popular appetizer is the Onion Blossom. We start with a Colossal Onion specialty cut. The onion is twice dipped in our own zesty beer batter and deep fried to a crispy golden brown complimented with our home made Tiger sauce.  Our Reuben Sandwich is hands down the best Reuben you will ever eat. Three pieces of grilled marble rye piled high with juicy corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, 1,000-island dressing and a bit of cream cheese to send it over the top. Whether you’re craving steak, seafood, or a little something to ease the hunger pains, The Grille features fine dining in a relaxing atmosphere.
