Breakfast with Bunny, Bunny Run and Egg Hunt

Jump right into the Easter holiday. Bring your family and friends to have a tasty breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget your cameras! Give the kids something to remember the day by, take a picture of the kids with the Easter Bunny. Kick those legs into gear and run/walk along side the Easter Bunny during the 5k Bunny Run. Can’t forget about the Easter Egg Hunt! Bring the kids down to Alexander Middle School playground for the great hunt.

10:00 a.m. registration at Goodfella's Pizza in the basement
Fun Run/Walk starts at 10:40 a.m. 
Route starts at Goodfella's Pizza to ERCO Worldwide and back.  
Adults: $15.00 before March 12th, $20.00 after the March 12th
Children: $10.00 before March 12th, $15.00 after the March 12th 
Includes t-shirt
Join us at Alexander Middle School playground for annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at Noon. We have three age groups:
Ages 4 and under
Ages 5 to 7
Ages 8 to 10 

We have over 3,000 eggs between the three age groups

The Heart of Wisconsin Committee Leadership program completed its fourth session on Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at the Wood Country Court House facilitated by Jason Gruenenberg. This day was filled with community leaders from various areas within the local government. They provided information that helped participants gain a better understanding of local government and its involvement. The morning included a thorough tour of the Wood County jail observing some of the day-to-day operations, a visit to the Circuit Court with Judge Todd Wolfe, and a panel discussion with Patrick Testin, 24th District Senator, Arne Systrom, Town of Grand Rapids Chairman and Kenneth Curry, Wood County Board Supervisor District 11. The afternoon continued with a visit from the County Clerk, Human Services, Sherriff’s Department, Highway Commissioner, and the County Board Chair.
