It's about time I gave you something to taco ‘bout. This food recommendation goes out to Taco Johns! Serving an original flavor since 1969. Let’s begin with a huge breakfast you can hold in your hand, breakfast BURRITOS! Wake up your Wednesday with a Sausage Scrambler Breakfast Burrito or a Spicy Chorizo Burrito. Any breakfast burrito you order will be simply delicious.


 Besides their exquisite breakfast burritos, Taco Johns serves appetizing tacos! Have a party to feed? You can’t go wrong with a Six Pack & a Pound (six tacos and a pound of potato oles). Change the way to do your taco! Try their Stuffed Grilled Taco, its taco-y goodness will awaken your taste buds. The Taco Bravo, a crispy beef taco wrapped with refried beans and a soft flour tortilla, gives you the best of both worlds. Not much of a taco person? I suggest you try their delectable Taco Burger you’ll never look at tacos the same. One bite into the Taco Burger will leave you feeling like you’ve just discovered a new planet. Taco Johns also has a great selection of beef and chicken burritos. The Super burrito is one of my favorites. It’s as super as its sounds. Their Potato Oles are topped with seasoned beef, refried beans, nacho cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, tomatoes, black olives, guacamole and sour cream. Now that’s a finger licking good! The Heart of Wisconsin Committee Leadership program completed its fourth session on Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at the Wood Country Court House facilitated by Jason Gruenenberg. This day was filled with community leaders from various areas within the local government. They provided information that helped participants gain a better understanding of local government and its involvement. The morning included a thorough tour of the Wood County jail observing some of the day-to-day operations, a visit to the Circuit Court with Judge Todd Wolfe, and a panel discussion with Patrick Testin, 24th District Senator, Arne Systrom, Town of Grand Rapids Chairman and Kenneth Curry, Wood County Board Supervisor District 11. The afternoon continued with a visit from the County Clerk, Human Services, Sherriff’s Department, Highway Commissioner, and the County Board Chair.
